Introduction

The Institute of Management Sciences (IMSciences) is the premier and foremost management school of NWFP.  IMSciences is a Government of Pakistan educational institution that is fully autonomous in its functions. Excellence in its teaching has also been recognized by national and international agencies which resulted in partnerships and funding for the different programs and scholarships at the Institute. The Higher Education Commission of Pakistan, the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), Khushhali Bank, the Japanese Government, The Frontier Education Foundation (FEF) and UFONE funds scholarships at IMSciences.

The Institute offers various programs at bachelor, master and MS level. The Master in Business Administration (MBA) is a core program of IM|Sciences. The development of knowledge, expertise, and behavioral competencies is an integral part of our MBA program. It focuses on issues of organizational implementation and renewal as well as strategy design. Our MBA is about situational problem solving. It also encourages participants to undertake “big picture” analysis, to understand how to harness creativity of their own and that of others within the organization and to have the confidence to implement a chosen
Strategic direction.
Since FBR has included Institute of Management Science on its list of approved institutions for FBR’s capacity building initiative under Tax Administration Reform Project for its employees. IMSciences is pleased to announce MBA program for FBR employees. IMSciences would help build FBR’s employees functional and managerial capacity by imparting quality education.

Aims & Objectives
The course aims to equip the executives with current and emerging theories, techniques, and management practices while providing a stimulating and intellectually demanding environment in which students are required to engage with both the specifically tailored set of courses and case studies as well as each other while reflecting on their own managerial experiences.

Methodology
In order to engage participants in high level strategic analysis and build personal attributes critical to leadership success, the teaching and learning methods are intensive and challenging. The process used will be highly interactive and will involve discussions, information assembly by participants, presentations, case studies and practical application.
