MBA (Banking & Finance) Two Year Programme  
 
This programme has been designed to impart professional education that covers all aspects of banking and finance. Graduates of this programme will have an in-depth understanding of banking law and practice, financial institutions and marketing of financial services and an understanding of business enterprises operating under the fast changing information technology development.
MBA (Banking & Finance) is a rigorous two years semester-based programme. It is offered in collaboration with the Institute of Bankers in Pakistan. The programme envisages a select student body. The admission process includes an entry test and interview to identify those who have an aptitude for banking because of the highly specialized nature of the programme. Besides the senior faculty of the IM Sciences there will be a renowned psychologist and a representative of the Institute of Bankers in Pakistan on the panel of its Admission Committee. An important feature of the programme is a two (2) months internship under the aegis of the IBP. The IBP will also allow the students of this programme to appear in the IBP Part-I and subsequently Part-II examination. This is the only MBA programme of its nature run in collaboration with IBP in Pakistan. This programme will give an edge to the MBA's of this programme over others in the job market.

Degree Requirements
 
     
 
For Master’s Degree in Business Administration (Banking & Finance) a candidate will be required to complete course work of at least 66 credit hours. Each student will also be required to undergo Internship of at least two (2) months.
 
     
 
Rules/Regulations
 
     
  Rules/regulations of IM Sciences relating to Grading & Evaluation, GPA requirements, Academic
Calendar, Attendance, withdrawal from Courses shall be applicable to MBA (Banking & Finance) Programme.
For other matters, the admission rules of the IM Science currently followed will be applicable, which are issued to all candidates along with prospectus.

  For Master’s Degree in Business Administration (Banking & Finance) a candidate will be required to complete course work of at least 66 credit hours. All the courses are of three credit hours each.
