MSc Finance (66 Cr. Hrs)  
 
The programme is designed for individuals who are eager to have an exemplary career in the field of finance as practitioners or world class researchers. Applicants need not be already working in Financial sector neither they need to have a previous degree in Finance. The programme is designed for those intending to pursue careers in companies, banking and non-banking financial institutions, or the public sector, with finance related responsibilities, or to stay in academics as researchers. For those already working in the field of finance, the courses will enhance their effectiveness by covering the latest developments in the field. For applicants whose previous knowledge is not related to Finance, will find this programme a unique opportunity to gain a comprehensive foundation and subsequent depth of the field. However, applicants must understand that MSc in Finance has a strong quantitative bias. Duration of the programme is 26 months that includes four taught semesters followed by research project(s). MSc Finance is an evening from 05:00pm to 08:15 pm, Monday to Friday.

Following the four rigorous taught semesters students will be expected to either write a single dissertation of minimum 10,000 words, OR, they could take two smaller projects that may include writing at least one publishable research paper and report writing on some assigned mini project.
