| MSc Applied Economics |

|

|
The MSc Programme in Applied Economics is
designed to develop both economic reasoning
and constructing and estimating economic
models through the use of econometrics and
other quantitative techniques. This is accomplished
by a rigorous and demanding curriculum
and a talented and committed staff of
instructors. The foundation for intelligent economic
reasoning is laid with courses in Microeconomic
and Macroeconomic Theory; Statistics
and Econometrics create the foundation
for empirical analysis. These skills are then
further enhanced through a diverse array of
courses. These courses serve to provide detailed
knowledge of specific areas of economics
but, equally important, provide additional
experience in economic modeling and econometric
estimation. Our objective is for students
to complete the programme with the skills to
develop and estimate models designed to address
the questions they are faced with in their
professional activities. |
